Gabriel Wisdom
KPBS Commentator / American Money, LLC.

A broadcast veteran and seasoned Investment Advisor. He has handled over 8000 investment accounts, representing over one billion dollars in assets, during the past 21 years.

Wisdom's broadcast career began in 1968 as a young pioneer in "Free-Form" FM radio at KPRI, San Diego. He was one of the prominent on-air personalities for KGB-FM San Diego, and KMET-FM Los Angeles, two legendary Album Oriented Rock stations during the 1970's and early '80s. During his 10 years at KGB and KMET, Wisdom was part of many highly successful station promotions including over 100 major concerts and rock festivals.

He hosted "Brainstorm," a nationally syndicated radio show, sponsored by Omni Magazine, from 1976 to 1981. Wisdom was the on-air Business Editor for San Diego ABC-TV affiliate KGTV from 1984 to 1986. He was the on-air Business Editor for San Diego CBS-TV affiliate KFMB-TV from 1989 to 1995.

Currently he is a commentator for Marketplace heard nationally on NPR, National Public Radio, provides periodic commentary for the CBS Radio Network, is heard Saturday afternoons on KLSX "97.1 The FM Talk Station" in Los Angeles, and weekdays from 5pm to 7pm Pacific Time (8pm to 10pm Eastern) on Business Talk Radio Network's affiliates. In his hometown of San Diego, Gabriel can be heard daily on KPBS 89.5FM.

Gabriel is Managing Director of American Money Management LLC, an investment firm serving individuals and retirement plans. He has been an officer of three Wall Street investment houses, and is a Director-shareholder of Monterey Financial, a national finance company headquartered in Oceanside, California.

Mr. Wisdom is a graduate of the Harvard Business School's Owner/President Management Program (OPM-Class 26), and is a Vice President of the Harvard Business School Alumni Club of San Diego. Additionally, Wisdom has an MBA from Cal Pacific University of San Diego. He has three daughters and is married to Diana. They live in Rancho Santa Fe, California.
