AVAILABLE LABOR MARKET SURVEY DATABASES
The San Diego Workforce Partnership frequently conducts surveys of the region’s employers, and uses the data in its own published reports. Researchers are invited to access and use the raw data from these surveys to conduct additional analyses under the following conditions:

Researchers must not provide the data to or share the data with any other organization without an explicit Agreement with the San Diego Workforce Partnership.

Researchers must not release the names or other identifying characteristics of any of the organizations or respondents in the database.

Researchers must not develop or distribute any report that enables others to determine the name of an organization or respondent that provided information for the survey.

Researchers must provide proper attribution to the San Diego Workforce Partnership as the source of the data for any report developed using the data.
The San Diego Workforce Partnership currently has the following survey databases available for researchers to use:
2001 INDUSTRY CLUSTER SURVEY
In 2001, the San Diego Workforce Partnership conducted an industry cluster survey with Godbe Research. The survey was conducted for ten industry clusters:

A total of 1,885 firms over the ten clusters completed the survey. They provided information on their industry and on occupations [between 5-15] in their industry. A total of 85 occupations were studied over the ten clusters.You can view a copy of the survey instrument to determine whether the database contains information that would be useful to you.
You can gain access to the survey database by printing out the Database Use Agreement completing it, and mailing it to:
