San Diego County Hospitality Industry Studies
San Diego’s hospitality industry is a large component of the regional economy. In 2004, close to 152,000 people were employed in the industry – almost 11 percent of all those employed in the county. The Workforce Partnership’s three hospitality publications provide information on the industry and its occupations, as well as recommendations on how to ensure that San Diego has the hospitality workforce it needs.
