ON-THE-JOB TRAINING (OJT)
Employers can take advantage of On-the-Job Training Programs and be reimbursed for up to 50 percent of the wages or salaries earned by eligible new workers during their training period. One-Stop Career Center staff handle the recruitment, placement and pre-screening of on-the-job workers focusing on their abilities, knowledge and previous work experience, all at no cost to employers. EMPLOYEE SKILLS UPGRADE
The State of California Employment Training Panel (ETP) improves your competitive position by helping to fund training. This includes upgrading employees’ current skills, retraining workers, and meeting the unique training demands of any of the manufacturing industries.
WORK READINESS CERTIFICATE
The Work Readiness Certificate offers businesses the dual benefit of producing more qualified and skilled applicants while enhancing the performance of existing workers.
