LAYOFF ASSISTANCE

Downsizing is hard on everyone; ease this stressful transition for employees and management alike with our valuable programs and services designed to assist laid-off workers and provide guidance for management. Our layoff assistance services are a cooperative effort between the Workforce Partnership, the California Employment Development Department.

"The Career Centers are the best kept secret, a real source of comfort. If you haven't gone through a major layoff before, the Business Services Coordinators and Career Centers are a big help. The process ran extremely smooth, not only for our company, but for the employees as well."
                                    - Karen Spink, Vice President Administration
Sumitomo Metal Mining U.S.A. Inc., Oceanside Division

If you would like to learn more about layoff assistance, please contact the Business Services Coordinator at the Career Center of your choice
