The San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau (ConVis) is a private, non-profit, mutual benefit corporation of approximately 1,600 member organizations, businesses, local governments, and individuals seeking a better community through the visitor industry. ConVis members include tourism-related entities in such categories as lodging, dining, arts & attractions, shopping, and transportation, among others, as well as other companies indirectly involved in the visitor industry. The main objective of ConVis is to promote and market San Diego County as a vacation destination and convention site. ConVis represents and supports the interests of the visitor industry as a whole.

HASD&IC's mission is to support its members by advancing the organization, management and effective delivery of affordable, medically necessary, quality health care services for the communities of San Diego and Imperial counties. HASD&IC provides strong leadership, representation and advocacy with local governmental entities, business coalitions, the media, community organizations and the public.
Organized under the auspices of HASD&IC is the nationally recognized Community Health Improvement Partners (CHIP), a collaboration of San Diego health care systems, hospitals, community clinics, insurers, physicians, universities, community benefit organizations and the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency, all of whom are dedicated to a common vision of improved health for the San Diego communities.

The mission of the San Diego RTA is to promote sustainable technology growth in the San Diego region by fostering technology development, commercialization and competitiveness. The RTA fulfills this mission by providing four major services:
- Offering commercialization funding for technology R&D companies;
- Provideing entrepreneurship programs and business acceleration services to emerging
tech and biotech firms;
- Delivers community technology services to help bridge the "digital divide" and create
a more tech savvy workforce;
- Performs research on tech-related issues to inform public policymakers and support

San Diego World Trade Center (SDWTC) is international business service organization committed to developing and expanding international trade and commerce opportunities for the San Diego rregion. The SDWTC is licensed by the World Trade Center Association in New York. Members and clients of the SDWTC are primarily small and medium sized businesses or organizations committed to world trade. The SDWTC is a private-public partnership, with the City of San Diego and the San Diego Unified Port District co-holding the license to operate. SDWTC staff report to a Board of Directors elected by the membership. San Diego business leaders and board members chair active committees. The SDWTC was licensed in 1994 and is a 501(C)6 corporation. Its affiliate, the World Trade Institute, was founded in 1997 and is a 501(C)3 organization.
