RFP Information Page

The San Diego Workforce Partnership, Inc. (Workforce Partnership), a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified bidders for monitoring services.  The Workforce Partnership serves as both the grant recipient and administrative entity for the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and other federal and state job-training funds in San Diego County, California.  As such, the Workforce Partnership is responsible for monitoring all programs funded by WIA and other grant sources. 

The services out to bid are to ensure compliance by the Workforce Partnership and its service providers with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and administrative regulations and the terms and conditions of contracts or service agreements.  The monitoring will cover all aspects of programmatic and fiscal activities, administrative systems and management practices.  The monitoring of service providers shall follow the state requirements outlined in Employment Development Department (EDD) Directive #WIAD00-7, Standards for Oversight and Instructions for Monitoring.

An optional Respondents Conference will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., April 4, 2005, at the address given above.  Resulting questions and answers will be posted on www.SanDiegoAtWork.com. Additional questions will be accepted in writing until April 18, 2005, and posted on the website and emailed to those known to have the RFP.

Those interested and qualified are invited to submit a proposal as instructed in the RFP.  The Workforce Partnership must receive proposals marked “Proposal for Monitoring Services” at the address given above no later than 3:00 p.m., PDT, on April 25, 2005.   Proposals arriving after the time and date specified will not be accepted.
