Training expenses for new or existing employees can be a cost-prohibitive prospect for many companies. San Diego Workforce Partnership’s One-Stop Career Center Network can assist with advice and funding for training through its Customized Training Program.
The purpose of the Customized Training Program is to assist local businesses with upgrading their staff's skills through training.
Participant companies decide on the type of training they want, select the training provider, and choose the trainees. Companies can elect to train current staff that needs skill upgrading for advancement or recruit new employees and train them for their new position.
