RFP Information Page

The San Diego Workforce Partnership, Inc. (Workforce Partnership) is soliciting proposals from vendors who are interested in providing cost-effective, quality after-hours custodial services for the Workforce Partnership's two Metro Region Career Centers. 

The Metro Career Center building is a four-story office building located at 3910 University Avenue, San Diego, CA.  This building has 60,000 square feet of general office and classroom space.  The other building is the South Metro Career located at 4389 Imperial Avenue, San Diego, CA.  This is a one-story building with 32,400 square feet of general office and classroom space.

The contract will include custodial services for a total of 92,400 square feet of classroom and general office space.  The proposal is to include both building sites.  Proposals that include only one building will not be considered.  The contract will run from July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009, and will include two additional twelve-month options for renewal by the Workforce Partnership.

This Request for Proposals (RFP) is primarily intended for those vendors that can provide security and custodial services and necessary expertise in accordance with the Scope of Work specifications.

An Optional Bidder's Conference will be held from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m., Friday, May 2, 2008, at the address given above.  Questions and Answers from the conference will be posted HERE.
Additional questions will be accepted in writing via email, addressed to Jared@workforce.org until Monday, May 12, 2008, and answers will be posted here.

The Q&As will also be emailed to those known to have obtained the RFP and provided an email address.

The deadline for receipt of proposals is 3:00 p.m., PDT, Friday, May 16, 2008.  No proposals will be accepted after that time.

All applicants are required to submit a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) no later than May 16, 2008.
