RFP Information Page

The San Diego Workforce Partnership, Inc., (Workforce Partnership) has issued a Request for proposals (RFP) for Audit Services for the fiscal year July 1, 2004 to June 30, 2005, with an option for contracting for up to two additional years.
The Workforce Partnership intends to contract with an independent public accounting firm to perform an audit of the Workforce Partnership’s financial statements, an audit in conformance with the Single Audit Act of 1984 and the Single Audit Act Amendments of 1996(including the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-133 Compliance Supplement), to perform a Program Specific Audit, to provide general ledger accounting technical assistance and to prepare tax returns.
The period of performance will be October 1, 2005, through September 30, 2006, with the Single Audit and tax preparation on fiscal year ending June 30, 2005, and technical assistance provided during the first three months of the contract.  There will be an option for renewal of the agreement on a year-to-year basis for up to two additional years.
The Workforce Partnership serves as both the grant recipient and administrative entity for the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and other federal and state job-training funds in San Diego County, California.  The Workforce Partnership currently has an operating budget of approximately $ 3.4 million, and a direct revenue/contracts budget of $ 25.8 million.  There are 27 operating grants, 27 of which are WIA-funded, and provide 96% of the Workforce Partnership’s funding.  A listing of specific grants and funding amounts will be provided to potential bidders at the Bidder’s Conference, which is scheduled for Monday, July 25, 2005, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at:
